Our Range Of Flooring Services

Retail Mezzanine

The possibilities are endless when installing a mezzanine floor in any retail area. Customer flow and stock presentation are just some of the design factors when working with our high street clients. Technical and mechanical requirements are also important considerations, as is accessibility, temperature control and security. These can all be designed into the perfect space for your business.

Ancillary Mezzanine

Ancillary mezzanine flooring refers to the essential accessories and components that make a mezzanine structure safe, functional, and compliant with regulations, including items like stairs, handrails, pallet gates, fire protection, lighting, and even integrated offices or partitions, all designed to customise and enhance the primary intermediate floor space for specific uses like storage, retail, or offices

Storage Mezzanine

A storage/production mezzanine floor unlike a retail or office mezzanine is designed to take larger loads imposed. On average a storage mezzanine will be designed to store 4.8kn loading but this can be increased to 7.2kn or even 9.6kn for much heavier items.
Structurally the mezzanine floor is made up of steel components which are assembled on-site making this a semi-permanent, but sustainable solution.

Office Mezzanine

We offer a comprehensive range of options for your new office mezzanine including standard and glass partitioning systems, electrics and data, Smoke detection and emergency lighting, contract flooring and suspended ceilings, fire rated if required.
Whatever you need office space for, from offices for more on-site staff to use as a control room area or similar within a warehouse, a mezzanine level can be a time and cost-effective way to get the space you need.

FAQ's

FAQ

Do I need Planning Permission or Building Regulations approval for a mezzanine floor?

In most cases, planning permission is not required for an internal mezzanine floor unless it changes the external appearance of the building or is used for a significant change of use. However, Building Regulations approval is mandatory to ensure the floor is structurally sound and meets fire safety standards. At Nxt Level, we handle the entire application process for you, liaising with approved inspectors to ensure your project is fully compliant.

How long does the installation process take, and will it disrupt my business?

We pride ourselves on speed and efficiency. Depending on the size and complexity, a standard mezzanine can often be installed within a few days. To minimise downtime, our SEIRS-registered installers can work around your operating hours. Our "7-Step Process"—from the initial free consultation to the final site sign-off—is designed to be seamless and "hassle-free," as noted by our previous clients.

Does my mezzanine floor require fire protection?

This depends on the size of the floor and its intended use. Generally, if the mezzanine is used for offices, is over a certain size (typically 20m in any direction), or exceeds 50% of the ground floor area, fireproofing is required. This usually involves installing a one-hour fire-rated suspended ceiling, column casings, and fascia. We provide a full assessment during our site survey to determine exactly what your specific project needs to stay safe and legal.

What is your "Price Match Guarantee"?

We believe that high-quality mezzanine solutions should be accessible. If you receive a lower "like-for-like" quotation from another provider for the same specifications and quality of materials, we guarantee to match that price. As a family-run business with over 20 years of experience, we combine competitive pricing with the personalised service and expertise you expect from industry specialists.

Does Composite Bonding

Hurt?

Like dental veneers, composite bonding at Mill Hill Dental should not be uncomfortable. As our team will sand down a thin layer of your enamel to apply the bonding agent, the inner parts of your tooth will be untouched, meaning you won’t even need a numbing injection!

How Much Does Composite

Bonding Cost?

Our composite bonding starts from £195-£350 for Composite (tooth-coloured mercury-free) dental restorations and for Cosmetic composite bonding on front teeth start from £350 per tooth. For our SmileFast & Avente Garde premium technology costs between £1800-£2500 and we also have interest free payment plans available.

Can Composite Bonding

Cover Gaps?

Bonding can be used to cover gaps between teeth but in a similar way to dental veneers, our team will need to assess suitability. If your gap is too large, we may suggest either orthodontic braces or dental implants.

How Long Does Composite

Bonding Last?

This will depend on your overall level of dental hygiene and other lifestyle factors, such as smoking. Similar to white fillings, bonding procedures have an average lifespan of between 3- 10 years. Our team will always ensure that these composite coverings are intact during routine check-ups, and will aim to replace them if they aren’t. Simple! However, the composite used in bonding is softer than the porcelain used in veneers, so bonded teeth are more prone to chips and cracks. Luckily, such damage is easily repaired by our expert cosmetic team at Mill Hill Dental.

Are You Suitable For Composite Bonding?

Provided that you have good overall oral hygiene and you have an ailment which is suited to bonding, then our team will happily offer you bonding as a way to either restore your teeth or enhance your smile. To find out exactly if you are suitable, fill in the form on this page and a dentist from Mill Hill Dental will get in touch to talk to you through what happens next.
